Must be thousands of people a day get onto roundabouts in every country not 100% sure which exit they need & how to safely position to get there. Drive with care & extreme caution at ANY junction.

In Spain they are actually taught only to take the outside lane, whatever exit they need.

Accidents are in abundance

When I was last in Spain I drove a small Seat.

On some roads if you wish to turn left i.e. cross the oncoming traffic, you have to turn right into a sort of layby and then come at 90 degrees to the road.

You then treat like a cross road and go across the 2 lanes in one movement.

  • 1.4 Petrol Active I'm no expert, so please correct me if

It's interesting that the diagram shows a roundabout with two lanes of traffic on it and two lanes into it from each feeder road. But, there are no lanes marked on the roundabout itself.
Maybe Rusty can confirm it but my understanding is that in Oz, the lanes would be marked on the roundabout as well and you shouldn't change lanes until after you've exited the roundabout.
This enables you to goi through the roundabout to the right from the RH lane and people entering from opposite you in the LH lane can safely turn left without stopping, thus contributing to a smoother traffic flow. If you change into the left lane before or as you exit, chaos ensues.
The person turning right has his right indicator on, switching it to the left before exiting the roundabout and the person turning left has his left indicator on so both know what the other's intentions are.

Sounds something like what you have to do to get around the trams in Melbourne CBD.
