mpg here in winter will suffer due to studded winter tyres and solid ice roads..wife loves it a lot...oil is as clear as water

drew peacock
update
have driven 100km s now
getting 49 mpg
that is astonishing with a tight engine winter tyres and icey roads.

our old car did 30 mpg..
no road tax plus 2 years free insurance. the gas saving over 1 year will pay for itself

That was about how much use my HSV Clubsport got so I sold it, plus it drank a whisker short 60ltr's per 100km :faint: :D

If it's anything like mine, and you've brimmed it, you'll probably lose your 1st bar around the 140 mile mark :D

just been out again lol

hats to Hyundai for making  a car that drives as good as a german car for half the price..
it has every toy you could ever need...ffs it even lights up corners when you turn into them...the headlights aswell are amazing..im a ver fussy person with everything in life and I am blown away how nice this car is...ofc its not a car for badge snobs..but I don't buy into that bull.
we have a long drive to the airport on Thursday / about 300 mile round trip. I will report back true mpg as soon as I can

Better get that checked by the dealer  :snigger:

RE: your earlier post about the colour of the oil.. It will go dark very quickly (as in all diesel motors, but doesn't effect the lubrication qualities.)  :goodjob:

Mine has a flashing light, centre dash behind the windscreen.

Alarm and immobiliser are fitted to the models here, you don't have to activate anything.

drew peacock
ah ha
just took a look..
wot a muppet i am lol.
cheers mate...simple little thing like that can stop any thief helping himself to something from the car

Even if you don't lock the car the light will still flash when the vehicle is turned off :)

You are probably like me Drew, I always rack up the first 10K fairly quickly. Done 9500kms in my new car since mid September. We have a few on here that do 50K plus a year!
