If you are getting praise from competitors, supervisors from other teams and your own supervisor too, as well as judges, I think you have every right to fell very proud of yourself.
Even if that wasn't happening... you got to the apex event of a worldwide competition - that is something to be proud of too.
Hehehe - Now it sounds like I am going to have to try and make sure I meet Andrew!

Ok picture time before I fall asleep. Not alot and quite a few through bus window but here we go anyways.
Random street in Seoul.
Random temple.
The polution and fog have been thick all week.
First stop on Wednesday was the Asan factory tour.
No photography past this point 😢 I could have spent days just in the factory.
It takes 21 hrs to build one car from start to finish and a new car drives off the assembly line every 54sec.

After the Asan factory we went to lunch in a revolving restaurant overlooking a port and holding yards.
Then off to Hyundai Steel manufacturing. There are 3 blast furnaces and (forget how many) Electric Arc furnaces. 62% of raw iron ore is from Australia.
Again no photography so 😢

62% Aussie Iron Ore, I trust when you are crowned the winner you will ensure the figure is closer to 100%.....

Thanks for sharing, Tim. I've only been to South Korea once, that was in 2005 and was to Pusan (Busan) in the South of South Korea. From my memories, the Koreans are all very friendly people. We had a great experience been shown around the local mountains and restaurants by a local businessman, who needed to bring an interpreter. Magnificent scenery and hospitality.
BTW, they still hold a grudge against the Japanese.
