Thanks rusty for sharing that article. I learn a bit more about the fuel truth now.

Now I know what causes that “psst” sound when opening the fuel cap. If I hear it again, I'll move on to a busier petrol stations and see it go.

I'm on PULP 98 now (BP Ultimate), so not sure if that “psst” syndrome applies to this fuel as well.

I always use 100RON when travelling (we don't have 98). Just a small $ gain but gas-pedal is faaar better.
I use 95RON in the city because, strange enough, consumption is worse with the 100RON

I see. Didn't know there's a higher RON other that 98. Guess different country have different fuel standards etc.
I haven't fully tested mine yet, so I can't tell if 98 is worse in the city or not. I'm confused too..maybe someone with more experience here can shed some light on this??

Just found out that Shell sells ( ) a 97Ron V-Power here. Interesting.
