Faulty Rear Quarter Panel Glass?

Good news, I called in to the dealer yesterday and he told me that although he hadn't heard back from Hyundai as yet, he'd ordered the glass as he wasn't anticipating any problems.
He did say that the tint wouldn't be replaced as the warranty only covers the glass but after I had a bit of a whinge he said he'd see what he could do......

So, fingers crossed....

Received a phonecall yesterday letting me know the new glass has arrived. Now I just have to wait 2 weeks before they can install it.
No mention was made about the replacement tint so I'll probably have to arrange for that myself...oh well!

Thought I'd contact the Tint Professor via email for a quote on tinting the window yesterday....$55.00....

I've just replied pointing out that by my reckoning, going by the cost of getting all the windows done at $295.00, it should be more like $25.00 for that piddling little window.

I wonder what sort of response I'll get back from them?

EDIT: Got a response back and he's told me they'll do it for $25.00....

Sometimes it pays to have a bit of cheek....

$25.00 is a good price. IMO.

Well, had the window replaced last Friday and of course Hyundai wouldn't do anything about the tint so it looks like I'm off to the Tint Professor sometime down the track.

Just had a closer look at the window and it looks a little secondhand...hmmm, I wonder...

Finall got around to having the quarter panel window tinted last week.

I just turned up out of the blue as I was down that way on other business and luckily they were able to squeeze me in.

I'd no sooner got settled with the newspaper and it was finished., must've taken all of 5 minutes....

So, all done and 25 dollars lighter.....
