The Judge was too lenient. I hope the Attorney General lodges an appeal on a manifestly inadequate sentence. Rolfie should have been put in the slammer for at least 5 years, not walk out on parole of two and a half. Post sentence no doubt deported to OZ to live on Centrelink old age pension.
I was perplexed at a comment on Sky News this morning, they referred to one of the victims as "alleged victims", he has been found guilty now, she is no longer an alleged victim, she is a victim.

No doubt if he had committed the crimes today he would have been put away for a lot longer. Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that the sentence has to be similar to what it was at the time the crime was committed.
Next we'll be gathering up all his records and paintings and burning them....
