Dazz don't think i'd get one as the i30 goes so far on one full tank, i would have to go back to living in servo's filling a car with fuel all the time
just ment the GPS on the mazda that comes stock with Max sport and SP25 is what Hyundai need and see how the GPS is opperated via steering controls.
but i don't think i'd like a GPS only use i ever find for them is double checking the speed or distance, i normally know were i'm going, and the GPS trys to tell me to go longer routs makes me laugh sometimes.

That's ok then you're forgiven about the Mazda thing...

From my experience with the MIO 520 GPS it is usually a setting that sends you the long way.. there are three different settings on mine for "route" options and I have it on the one now that takes logical routes..

I am very happy with the MIO except for battery life (it's hopeless if it is not plugged in .. ) I must do a warranty claim i've got a 2 year warranty...

Dazz the Garmin, has all those opptions, uses where is.
i just bought the Garmin as the salesperson @ harvey norm, gave me a deal too good to refuse, never had a problem will work plugged in or not. funny thing was my nephew who stays up to date with the lattest tech, had a blue tooth Navman, then sold it got a Garmin like i have but cost him more. i don't use it all the time, just on trips.

I John.. I mainly use mine for monitoring my speed here in Tassie although it well and truly paid for itself when we went to Darwin and the Gold Coast...

Is it possible to purchase the GPStar Navigation for the hyundai i30 from you directly, if not is there any company that stocks this part in Australia.

Thanks,
Jay
