I have now left behind Queensland & crossed the order into NT.  Stopped here for diesel refill even though the tank is very full.

I meant to say "cross the border" not order!

You mean when I click "reply" I should post more than 2 pics?  :)

Yeah, you can stack your Photobucket links up all in one post, rather than creating one new post per photo :D

Thanks for the tour.

Can't wait for part 2.
Before posting part 2, admin need to help bring back the pics for part 1 first.

The problem is with your account at photobucket. As you can see, for some reason, photobucket has removed your pics. That is NOT a function of this forum, so you will need to find out what has happened to them. When you placed your pics in photobucket they should have gone into your own personal space, with your own username and password. There is nothing admin here can do, sorry.  :'(

We are all waiting for the rest of your pics too.

Hi Phil, i never post pic's, although i take a lot of them and Photography was my passion at one time.
years ago i tried photo bucket but did not care for it.
but on another forum i discovered how easy it was to post a pic from my ipad it posted as a thumnail. is it possible in this forum?
i know pics can take up a lot of room & slow things down & someone pays for it & i don't want to put anyone out.
cheers

Fancy a BBQ with the flies in outback Australia? I'd bet your Weber is not a patch on this little rusty.   :snigger:

When your on the road , & no webber with you, the trick is tye a tin of baked beans to the exhast manifold with wire ( might be a bit tricky to perform in the i30 ) a mate used to do that. but you have to be very carefull when you open the tin as they can explode. see one do that & finish up on other side of a river so we starved.

thanks for the pic's, i like to drive till the fuel light comes on as i don't like stopping, but out there you need to know distance between fuel stops & hours they are open. what the temps been like & is it humid or dry?
cheers & thanks for posting

Hi John, Shambles / Dazz are your men regarding forum performance questions, let's see what they say. Pics are encouraged on this site & I suspect the preference is to use a 3rd party to store the pics & just add links. Like to see some of yours though. For some reason, mine usually turn out like poo, so I don't post many at all. A bit photographically challenged I guess.

I have something similar that I made up for my 4x4. It looks like a square wire soap container that is secured to the engine via the engine exhaust manifold bolts. You take your pie out 10 miles before your fuel/food stop and put it in the wire basket. By the time you get there....dinner is served

How long before that's a feature in the i30 range. Very practical and use of a wasted resource.  :goodjob2:

I don't eat beans, but the thought of exploding cans.

Since it's a four day trip, I still have many pics to post.  Does it mean I slow down the performance of this forum?  Please advise.     :Pout:

Not a problem. Using Photobucket as you do, there's no drain on the site's resources. Carry on. You're doing fine.
