I used to get my hand dusty pulling down the hatch, and thought it would be good to have handles on the inside.
There are! Two handles indented on the inside of the hatch - works great. Most of you would have known this, but it may help someone!
I used to change out of fifth gear, then CAREFULLY move it across, so I didn't go too far and hit second.
Easier way: just gently bring it out of fifth, it automatically lines up between fourth and third, so you can easily change into either.
They may have been doing this to gearboxes for years, but when I learned to drive you had to be careful!
Again, most of you would have known this, but if you didn't it sure makes it easier.
Yesterday I had a four hour drive from Launceston to Cradle Mountain and return, quite a lot of it through very winding roads, up and down hills. I went through Mole Creek on the way, and came back through Sheffield. The car handled amazingly, even on SX wheels and tyres!
BUT my economy suffered!
