The hatch cover (parcel shelf) in my i30 developed a rattle when driving on potholed roads - and especially on the local roads where we have speed humps every 50 yards.

After some experimentation I found that tying just one knot in each of the shelf suspension cords will shorten them enough to hold the shelf up against the (closed) tail gate and stop the rattle.

Simples...............

I wish - but it is forbidden by the Human Rights Act which was inflicted on us by that tosser Tony Blair and the idiots in Brussels. We can't even deport illegal immigrant criminals or terrorists.

Nowadays - other countries send their scum bags by the lorry, boat and plane load to us - we are the soft touch of Europe.

Now we know why the French were so keen on getting the channel tunnel built. I always thought it was so the French government could quickly escape to England the next time the Germans got stroppy. Having said that....hmmmm
