FOUR pensioners playing a game of whist couldn’t believe their eyes when they were each dealt a complete suit of cards – an almost impossible feat.

Wenda Douthwaite, Arthur Beasley, Norman Stone and Ron Coles – all in their 70s – had just sat down to their first hand when the 2,235,197,406,895,366,368,301,559,999-to-one “perfect deal” happened in their local village hall.

I reckon one of them hoaxed the others with a prepared deck of cards he (or she) switched for the real ones. If they were all old fogies their eyesight may not have been good enough to spot the switch.  I suspect Wenda Douthwaite did it to get one over the lads. :whistler:
