 I probably use a desktop PC or Laptop for an average of 8 hours most week days (4 hours at work and 4 hours at home) and that may be resonsible for some aching in my forearms from time to time ...  

I don't like using a smartphone for the internet so mine only gets used perhaps 5 minutes per day for phone calls, Text and reminders...(so no RSI from that...)

My young adult children can fly on a mobile keyboard, but I can't be bothered. I wish they'd never been invented actually.

My three Daughters (I also have a Step Daughter who is 35) are all phoneaholics ...

I really like having a Mobile phone as a back up for emergencies (like if your car breaks down) or you need to track down your partner or if you are running late or can't find an address (to be honest I don't know how I did without one!)

Thankfully I haven't "seen the light" yet either. Plain and simple calls (3 or 4 per week) with the odd text and the odd daily email check.


My youngest lass, however, has different ideas.

Here's the last page of last months phone bill (which went right over her inclusive allowance by the tune of £56 )

And how much time did you get to talk to her, uninterrupted. It's an intrusion into family life & although I complain, it falls on deaf ears, I'm afraid. I feel for you.

Steve, The best way to fix that is send her a link to a couple of those articles about how Mobile phones cook your organs with microwaces and are suspected to cause brain tumours and at the least cause headaches and other side effects.....

I took out a life insurance policy on her

Yeah she hangs up straight away if she hears her mate's voicemail invite - usually records it as 4 seconds
