That's why the videos from other members are good to look at. We've seen rain, snow, bad driving, near  misses, speed cameras & radar, plus some wonderful sights safely from the comfort of home. It's nice to know where people live & see the differences of our various countries.

I find it strange that most of our European members have 2 sets of tyres, Winter / Summer. It's just not something I've ever had to consider her in Oz.  :scared:

Not somethign enforced in the UK, but advised, Countries such as Germany, Finland, Sweeden etc I think its mandatory,

Nice to see the road I commute on twice a week has a few deaths ... well re-known for being dangerous.

Does that mean we just avoid the dangerous spots?

No, 'cos that will create deaths in other spots & they will then be labelled dangerous.

Accidents are unplanned & unexpected events that can not be avoided. Provided no one contributes through negligence, stupidity etc. there's no much you can do, except stay home and not travel at all.

Saw an accident show last night. Semi trailer tyre comes off truck at speed, jumps concrete barrier, hits bus going other way. Crashes through windscreen & hit front passenger, who was reading a book at the time. He didn't see it coming and it killed him a few hours later. Wrong place , wrong time.  :disapp:

BTW that's called TV entertainment over here.  :(

thats unfortunate regarding the tyre :(  think ive seen that before, or something similar, definately cant do anything unlucky :(

accidents can indeed be avoided, but not all accidents are preventable... the course of life...
