I know the options sound odd, I could change the caliper colour if it helps but I did use smooth Hamerite.

So pop in your ideas!

Anthracite with a gold insert? But maybe get them done in a chrome type gold? like an annodised look. Spray paint gold would look too weired.

Something like that idea with the BMW colour

Anthracite is kind of a dark-ish metallic grey...

So I'm leaning towards Anthracite rims & keeping the chrome inserts... but mine are looking pretty grim, they wont clean up, I tried... so maybe a paint with that chrome look wheel spray? I'll gamble the little beggars are pricey new!  :(

Hope your sitting down.... £35 a piece. 5 for each wheel.. 4 wheels. £700? I was going to try mine under warranty, apparently its possible, but if you have ever used alloy wheel cleaner it doesn't help.! And they will just go rough looking again.
Chrome look paint may look okay, and if worst comes to the worst, tin foil. lol
I reckon spraying is the best answer.

Maybe experiment with plastic insert removal & see what I can do paint - wise in the vacated spaces...? Hmmmm

I do, just a wee bit, might be worth running down to the new Hy dealer in town (used to be Mitsubishi) & see what they can offer, at least none of the plastics are kerb damaged, just look nasty...

slight green dots forming?
its a known issue with them, were the chrome plastic is pitting, i think they look great cleaned up, but its the bother of getting warranty to cover them, they may only cover some, therefore odd looking inserts.
Think a trip to an motor factors store and some paint shall be in order

I'm feeling that too Sye... a half good paint job will look better than what I have at the moment, but you do have to be a car geek to notice.
