Shame you're not in the USA... you could have retired on the compen
I went to open the driver's door from the inside yesterday as I've done thousands of times before and felt something rather sharp. The "chrome look" coating has started to lift and it sliced the end of my finger open - blood everywhere, wasn't happy Has anyone else had this happen?I'm opening the door very carefully now. I wonder if that would be a warranty fix to replace it (the handle that is, not my finger)?
Thanks guys, I'll call in and ask the question. And if they say no, I can always show them my finger

The chrome finish on the inside passender door of our SLX started to crinkle up just before we traded it .. didn't actually split though
I wonder does your climate affect the wear on it Dazz? The prolonged heat inside the car?

I think when I showed him which finger it was as I left he probably thought it was a bit rude after he'd been very helpful, but I'm sure he'll understand when he stops and thinks about it
That's what we like to hear.
