My car is only 6 months old and already the alloys are showing chipped edges to alloys on the edges of the inner edge of the design.
I  clean mine carefully 2 weekly and  despite not even through 1 winter yet they are showing early signs of losing the alloy coating.
My previous cars all lasted 3 to 7 years with no weather deterioration.

Are you sure you don't own an unknown Chinese replica of Hyundai?
Those guys are masters in changing the order in the brand names so that no one could blame them in misappropriation.

Well, if the errors is not due to you ramming the curbs or similar, I think it would be a warranty case.

My alloys is aftermarket, so I don't know the quality of the Hyundai alloys.

Can you post a pic if the alloy..?

Mine are 4.5 yo and still look good as new when washed.

Ok there are a few scuff marks but have not pitted yet.

The 16" factory alloys on our first i30 were like new when she was traded after 28 months... 

The two posts I have read of yours so far "h2Olondon" seem unusually negative for an i30 owner
