Very interesting! Congrats on the new job... Always an exciting time. I was a Banker for nearly 20 years and then worked my way through half a dozen management jobs in different areas of retail before retiring in June last year... I posted a link to an article about your line of work (my head hurts!) Building information modeling - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Put their feet up what ? It was meant to be a play on Dave's Laying comment.. (I was actually referring to the many retired folk on here - including me) Although I need to go back to work to get a break (Long story)

I think this is because of it being an online forum, it appeals quite broadly to the technologically minded folk as I have picked up the same thing on other forums. Even the adventure biking forum I belong to (bikes, not something you would commonly associate with an IT fundi) has around 60% of it's members working in IT or a similar trade, and the same can be said for the paintball forum I sometimes frequent I think the typical man on the street buys his car and that's it - he takes it in for services and maintenance and never thinks of the vast communities that are out there just a Google search away with a wealth of information available.Just my 2c. Oh, and I am also in the IT trade
