The first TV advert especially for dogs will be shown on ITV1 tonight at 7:15 pm.

The clip will be a take on the film - The Italian Job and features high frequency noises that only animals can hear.

Can't wait to see this.  In fact I've just set the recorder as I don't usually watch TV at this time so I can watch it later.

If the notes are above about 16 kHz than the average TV won't be able to play them anyway. I'm not even sure if they broadcast sounds above that frequency.

Good way to get free publicity though.

Plays ok for me, but a long time to buffer. Couldn't hear anything special about it. How do we know if it's just a hoax, anyone got a pet in the UK that has responded to the add. 

BTW Digital TV is supposed to be Hi Fidelity sound, which should e 20-20k frequency range.
