What's to say Hyundai didn't *accidentally* design the very same drivetrain tech that the troll has patented? After all, they say that if you give 1000 monkeys a typewriter each, eventually they'll write all the works of Shakespeare, or something like that

I'm betting Hyundai/KIA has more money behind them than the company suing them.  :winker:
  • 2009 manual sx hatch and 2009 automatic sx cw. both 2.0 petrol.

I thought it said Toyota reached an out of court settlement.

After years of battling, the two companies eventually settled outside of court, allowing Toyota to continue producing its hybrid vehicles.
