Well Perth is getting colder.
Down to 3 degrees tonight and up to 18 tomorrow.
I live in the hills and it gets colder up here so 3 in Perth could well mean 0 here - cars left outside get the ice on the windscreen which would be nothing to you northern hemisphere guys (or Tasmanians) but it's a pain in the proverbial.

Beautiful day today. Sun, gentle southerly breeze, maybe 20°.
This morning before dawn I checked the surf from the headland and looking out to sea (there's no moon), Venus was so bright it was painting a beautiful silvery reflection all the way to the horizon.
It must be pretty close to Earth ATM.
Jupiter is nearby and the Pleiades are as clear as I've ever seen them.
Perfect Queensland winter weather.

And plenty of waves.

This was what greeted me in Perth this morning.
I left April outside last night (I know, cruel) because I'm trying to replicate the clutch shudder I had the other day.
One degree in Perth means minus two or three in the hills and I couldn't drive away until I'd cleared the ice of the windows (very un-Perth-like).
And at the risk of having crossed threads, there was absolutely no hint of any clutch shudder so I'm pretty confident that it was just a bit of condensation.

Funky here today, was cool and overcast most of the day. Tomorrow should be back to average, Hi about 28C, low about 13C. but should warm up next week, will get into the 32+ range. But normal for here in the summer. The best part is it normally cools down at night
