Nice machine, Mad Dog.   :winker:

Looks like one that would get me killed very quickly...

Hopefully it's only my licence that's in danger. 30 doesn't seem to be a problem in 1st gear, often before your feet are up and comfortable ... I don't think I will be testing out the claimed top speed of 160 - not with my feet still down anyway

Geez, you call that good news Diablo  I hate speeding fines..

I am trying to avoid them like the plague since  recently shopped around for insurance.. Both of us having a clean license gives us great negotiating power  :happydance: (touch wood)

Well I can't say I was delighted by getting the letter, just that I probably deserved to get a lot more over the years - there are speed cameras every few feet on some roads round 'ere and I don't always spot them in time on roads I don't know well.

I'll have to dig out my insurance policy tomorrow to see if I need notify them (apparently some don't care too much about a single offence). I may even take the speeding course thing instead, then I officially don't need to tell them - but that would be a pain.

Good job I had my old mother with me that day or I might well have been doing 46 instead of 36.

I find passing on the highway the biggest worry.. My Hybrid is a bit of a rocket ship at passing speeds..  :sweating:

You get stuck behind someone doing 95 or 100 in a 110 zone and you zip past them when the opportunity arises .. you look down and you are doing 125 by the GPS  :-[ .... and that is being careful (I better not get the newer more powerful model  :Pout:)

The ticket should say where you were exceeding the limit and what machine, static/mobile/handheld, was used to calculate the excessive speed.

Does it say so and if so is it within the 30 mph area?

May be worth just asking for the picture and calibration certificate.

Lay flat on your back and whilst keeping your feet flat, raise your legs up towards your chest.
Depending on where you are when you do this, it might look funny, but it works.  :D
