Don't you just love new gadgets  :goodjob:

Try and find some arthritis cream with Shark cartilage and glucasomine in it (works for me)

This morning I have had - Ibruprofen, Evening Primrose Oil, Flax oil, Green Mussell extract and Glucosomine sulphate. We are a bit short of sharks over here, but I'll certainly watch out for them ... arthritis cream might help too even though i'm pretty sure its the cartilage.  :blubber:

Come on Posty!!

The cream with these ingredients combined actually rebuilds cartilage (and has been clinically  tested) :goodjob:

Good - Got my car tinted today. I went from 35% down to 18% and it looks oh, so good. And tomorrow I'm going to get my new rims put on (Granted they look the business). Can't wait!

Bad - The girl and I are on the outs. House hunting -- Shit all in my area. Sucks!

You've got plenty of sharks. Look in the real estate or used car industries. That's where ours are, too. :snigger:

We show Saint Bernards, we have not had a litter for six years, this litter we kept four of the babes to  run on,sadly last week one of our girls got something stuck in her throat( could possibly have been a bee sting in the throat or mouth, for it to happen so quick) and before we could get her to the vets she passed away, she was only six months old, no matter how careful you are, being puppies they can get themselves into real trouble real quick, so with this and dealing with our old Boy in early to mid stages of congestive heart failure, the emotions here go up and down quickly on a daily basis.

Yes we had the Saints for over twenty yers now, the stupid comments are always there, but it's still great to get the kids out there and share them with those who are genuinly interested in the breed or even other dog owners that need help with pet issues.

Try to focus on those positives, what has happened recently, although very disappointing, can't be changed. We have a goldfish and a Siamese cat and they are like family members, yes even the goldfish, I talk to it in the morning,  :undecided: it's name is Goldie. Try to stay +++

The Good, ye olde Strongbow Cider was cold at the golf club, plus a small rattle in my new i30's front nearside door has gone.
 :goodjob:

The Bad: Too hot today for golfing @34C , although I was out there for 4 and a half hours, then my A/C was struggling on the way home.. :fum:

The Good, again..I am still alive.

... then my A/C was struggling on the way home.. :fum:

Lester, do you drop all four windows for about a minute when you first get in to let the worst of the captured heat out? and are your windows tinted dark?..

Having/doing both these things made  a real difference to the effectiveness of our i30 air con (in both our i30's)  :goodjob:

Rick.. Sorry I forgot about your dogs.. Sorry you lost one  :blubber:

This is where a sunroof comes in.
Leaving a sunroof open (just a small crack) lets most of the hot air escape so when you come back to your car it's not too bad and the air con doesn't have to work so hard.

My aircon works OK but it's noticeably less cool than that in my wife's 2005 Corolla sedan.

'twas always thus.

But the i30 is no different to my Subarus, nor my daughter's Aceent.

Thanks guys, taking on board your advice,  get the can opener and whack in a sun roof  eh?  Many of our British friends have sun roofs, for when the sun DOES appear.

I am probably a little impatient when it comes to a/c, still getting it looked at though.

It is not unusual for the aircon coolant to evaporate over time.

This spring my a/s didn't cool very much, went to the dealer who put in 100 gram coolant, and since then, it have been able to cool very much.  :goodjob:

I think we measured the air from the vent's at 4-5 Cº

A big scary minus..........................

A couple of days ago there was a murder suicide in Brisbane's Clayfield.
They gave the name of the street as Hutton St, which is scary because it's only pretty short and was where my grandparents lived from the late 1040's till they died in the late 1980's At which time the house was left to my brother and me. We sold it and moved on, but a Google street view search based on the house frontage shown in the news footage confirms the murder took place in my grandparents (and my) old house.

I know there are at least two extended families of the victim and the perpetrator out there who are grieving but it' surprising how much I feel too.
A part of my childhood has been taken away.
No longer can I remember with any happiness, days spent with Pop in his vege garden (he introduced me to snake beans - no string) and eating tomatoes off the vine. And Nana always had large garden beds of flowers..
When Nana was in a care facility for the last few years I callled on Pop as often as possible. he was totally deaf so all communication from me was by written note. And when a hail storm came through and smashed every pane of glass on three sides of the house and one third of the roof panels I dealt with the insurers to get it all repaired.
A small thing I know, in relation to what has happened there but it just goes to show how far these things can reach sometimes.

I understand what you're saying Trev.
The perpetrators have no idea how many people their actions affect and for how long.
Try to remember the good times there.  :)
