+ Got my Fairlane auto trans diagnosed today.
+ Could have been a minor fault like low on oil.

- It was a major fault, transmission cactus.

- $2250 for a new one & can't drive it 'til it's fixed.

Such is life, as Ned said.
It was taken to the place on a flat top ($110) and now needs to be brought home on one $80) because I'm not in a position to get it fixed straight away.
Oh well, at least I'll know the gearbox is good when done.

Thanks for that. I would keep the mo, but with the mo there are definitely no "big bed activities". Come to think of it, I am married with two kids, so there are no "bid bed activities" anyway.
