Just busy at work.  All last week was doing night shift on the Emergency Helicopter so the others could continue fighting the fires (yes they are still going).  This week has been instructing on the Twin Squirrel (funny thing is that my student used to be my instructor and taught me how to instruct) 

:-) I've flown an Ecureuil, typical French. Lots of opposite foot in for the tail rotor... IMMSMW. On the same day I also got to fly a Jet Ranger & a Robinson R11? Quite an amazing day for someone without a pilots licence lol!

Very, very close Alan.  So close that you are in fact, a very long way off.   

Well, I have to do some research, my student is studying for his MECIR, which will require lots and lots of IFR planning.  That's not to say we can't do it in VMC, but it is much better to actually fly the ILS, VOR and NDB (not forgetting the DGA and the RNAV) in IMC, hopefully we break visual before the MAP and before we reach our MDA/DH.  I wonder if we should start it the IAF or the IF?  Oh wait, we better get the QNH before we start on the SID.  I must remember to take my IAL charts tomorrow.

Well, I have to do some research, my student is studying for his Methodological Expectations of Cochrane Intervention review, which will require lots and lots of Instrumented flux return planning. That's not to say we can't do it in the Veterinary Medical Center, but it is much better to actually fly the Internet Love Scams, Voice of Reason and Non-Deductible Breakfast (not forgetting the Drunken Golf Association and the Realisable Net Asset Value) in the Indian Muslim Community, hopefully we break visual before the Maneuverable Atmosphere Probe and before we reach our Malaysian Dancers' Association /domestic helper.
