There are a few roving tyre fitting operations in OZ. Some of them will even do an alignment.

Being mobile, what would their equipment be like Trev?  :undecided:

No comment.

In all honesty, it's more important how good the operator is. It's not hard to set up a tyre changer and wheel balancer on trailer or in a van. Run a compressor, some hoses and air tools, jacks etc and you're good to go.
I have a friend who for many years was the agent for Silverstone Rally Tyres and had set up a bus to follow rallies around Australia. The crews were more than happy to use him because he was good.
There are even mobile wheel aligners in some places.
The same  proviso applies.

Just found this one. Looks pretty professional.

The only thing is, I have no idea where they are. :whistler:

Thanks. It wasn't so much the balancing I was referring to, more the alignment.

That's why I posted that link. Have a look at their alignment page.

BTW. Mobile truck aligners have been around forever. They come to your store and do the truck on your driveway using laser alignment.
Or you can be like the guy in Dubbo, Frank Cross who has a truck wheel alignment pit across the back of his warehouse which will take a road train.

Happy Anniversary, Panda. We exchanged e-mails of flowers and a cute puppy with a daisy in its mouth (no cat - I think it was already eaten) and decided to just eat at home casually because our son has split up with his girlfriend.

Plus points:

* Fergie successfully passed her 3rd MOT with zero observations and 100% green marker points :)
* The MOT only cost me £29

Minus points:

* The RAV4 failed its MOT on a broken rear suspension coil; it seems to have broken in the past 24 hours  :undecided:. Cost? £380+VAT
* The RAV4 front rotors received advisories as they are below minimum width

Devastating point:

* Went to Rivington Hall Barn for lunch while the RAV was in for its MOT and service; Fergie now needs a new windscreen (cracked, dunno how)

And just to rub it in...

* Got home to find the Road Fund Tax renewal notices for both cars - £100 and £270.
* The missus has borrowed Fergie  :sweating:

Fergie now needs a new windscreen (cracked, dunno how)

Is this Fergies 2nd or 3rd?

Is it in the "visual" zone so you can still drive until replaced or repair?

Remember your 1st replacement took a few weeks so is this going to take as long?

ps happy anniversary for, is it, 1st March...
