Good: 2 of my kids are banned from tv and electronics tonight. They've dug out a board game. It's amazing what they manage to come up with when not tempted by shiny lights and irritating noises  :happydance:

Bad: 2 of my kids are banned from tv and have been driving me nuts with chorus's of "I'm bored" and "when are we grounded until" "but you said 3 o'clock not 4 o'clock tomorrow, why are you making it lonnnnnggerrrrrrr?" up until this very moment in time

Why not use the NVGs? Typical flyboys ... get you all this enormously engineered gear and you leave it hanging off the back of the seat.

I used to use NVGs. Well, NVBGs to be precise, and usually in the night clubs.

I had them on my head, just in the "up" position.  My student is doing his Night rating (without NVGs), so mine were just there "incase".

I might have an AGB occassionally, with the texture and consistency of peanut butter!!

+ I'm home  :happydance:
- we set off with 2.5 hours delay due to weather condition at Yemelianovo airport (the airport was closed for all flights till 9 o'clock, whereas our flight was to have departed at 8.50) and increased traffic at the airport because of weather (the boarding was announced for many flights at the same time; every aircraft requested de-/anti-icing treatment etc)

off to the Melbourne grand prix today with the youngest son,as cams officials he has won a drive of the race circuit.  :goodjob2: :goodjob: :happydance:  every year cams sends its junior officials [16-18yo] a letter asking if they would be interested in doing a few laps of the circuit in a car with an instructor [usually the course/safety car],he put his name down as was drawn out for the drive.  :happydance:  we have been given VIP passes too the event with all access in the corporate areas and grandstand seats.  :P i even get a few laps as a rear seat passenger,we don't know what sort of car it is yet, but who cares, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to actually drive on the closed race track instead of looking through the fence at it.  :happydance:
