35km is a decent ride, Rick. How are the legs? Endorphins feels great, don't they?

Legs are great,Knees are a bit dodgy,yeah the riding was not hard,been feeling a lot better since starting,it's when you have to stop it hits the knees,must remember to take my water next time.

Due to time constraints,weekedays I can only do short rides,bummer.

More importantly. How's your bum?

Bad news, I put on 4 kg in 2 and a half weeks on cruise and in NZ, more news, we got a 3.9 quake in Auckland last Sunday arvo, I was on 18th floor of our hotyel, sway, judder.

I think we would enjoy a cruise but too scared of gaining weight to go on one 

I didn't hear about that quake .. like gonz said adds a bit of extra excitement to your holiday (and something to talk about on your return)

On Saturday night as wife and I were becoming comatose.... We heard a revving engine, I imagined it was somebody trying to escape from the ice trap that was our sloping cul de sac, but no... my wife went to the window and the men of the street were out, surrounding a KIa PIcanto that had beached itself on a pile of cleared snow... A toe rag and his girlfriend had broken into a house over the road, vacated by a widow who had. Developed mental sickness 9 months ago. They had stolen the TV it turns out. Anyway they spent 40 mins trying to escape, burning rubber in a futile attempt to escape the streets vigilante group, eventually the driver got out and tried to push the car backwards... After failing his girl joined him and I took the keys from the now empty car. They conceded defeat and fled into the cul de sac, jumping back garden fences to escape... We gave descriptions and statements, and the car was trailered away, missed my daughters coupe by a foot when the tea leaf crashed it, and the 2 back windows were boarded up, how sad, how typically 21st century England... How flicking annoying, security camera now ordered....

Good work Keith, I hope the Old Bill catch the oxygen thieves. They could get some latent prints from the car or even DNA, if they tested for that.  One would think it would be too cold at night over there at the moment for burglars to be out and about.
