It was the view from the bank where I was fishing before I headed to work. The Huon River, opposite Port Huon, in the Huon Valley (just south of Huonville).

- yesterday, while peacefully driving my car, some stones (I assume those were stones) flew out of the wheels of the opposite coming truck and hit my rear left passenger door, leaving a number of dents (one of them is relatevely deep) and scratches

you haven't seen my two Hyundai's, they get pounded fairly badly from objects thrown off of other vehicles the miles I do,Meech I really feel for you

+ some time ago I was able to aquire some shop displays,one being a 80 year old store front counter cabinet,very flimsy frame and basically all glass,it originally came out of one of the first shops in Beverley,so I was excited to be able to get it to keep it in town

- the lady I got these items from,finally said I had to get them out of her shop.

- been putting this off because of the fear of breaking the big glass shop counter

- wasn't able to get anyone to help me move them(other than Sue)

++ mangaed to get them all home,without breaking them

++++ now that I have broken my back

getting them home and in the house and all clean up,it's all up to Sue now to put all her porcelin dolls in them.

- next job for me now is to get my office all cleaned up again

++ won't be doing it next weekend,I have another set of shows to do with the kids

+ Passed my Instrument Rating Renewal on Wednesday (I can keep flying in cloud).
+ Passed my Flight Instructor Rating upgrade yesterday (I can teach people to fly, and I can teach them to teach).
+ I've been at my current job for 12 months, therefore, I got a pay rise!!

I watched Sky Fighters late last night on SBS. Corny over-the-top plot and the Australian Air Force 'General' was a cracker but much more substantial air porn than the likes of Top Gun.
