good news is i found out why the R31 brakes were horrible (from the 2km test drive i did when i bought it)

the LH soft line to the caliper was collapsed, good thing i had a spare set of brake lines!!

Sorry to hear about your Phone Ian.. What a pain. Seems crazy $400 fix. Galaxy 4S is about $280 and Iphone only $150 or less I think.. My lower spec Sony Xperia Sola was only about $200 on ebay

Thanks for your comments, both Dazz and Rick. I had to demote myself for my sanity and stress levels. I feel much better about it now.

Unfortunately the only job that I will get now, and still live in Tassie, is a "touring" job (FIFO). Speaking to mates down here who do the same thing, they actually get to see more of their family.

Thought the sheepskin seat covers are very nice to sit on,on the down side they raise you up at least 1 to 2 inches in you seat,I have drover sheepskins in Cyril and some time ago I took the drivers one out and put a real cheap cloth seat cover on it,as this let me back down into the cup of the seat,but am thinking of putting it back in PPL continually ask why I have to different type seat covers in the car.
