+ 11-th of February - a day when I start my work in Nayak
+ 40 days of vacation annually (28 days basic + 12 days for harmful work environments)

Boy good Job.only jobs over here where you get more than 20 days AL is government jobs

Not true, Rick. In my job I get 42 days leave a year. Definitely not government. Plus I work a roster of 15 days on, 13 off. End up working less than half the year!
Yes but yours is a little more specialized than the rest of us Minions

Your job would be harder than mine when everything is working, Rick.  I earn my money when things go wrong.  I could never reverse a semi-trailer into a loading bay, nor use a crash box.

My 42 days includes weekends and public holidays (which I don't get anyway).

Got out the soldering iron today. I gathered up and dismantled eight LED keyrings that were too dim to impress from the Veteran's Day event last year and soldered the white LEDs into a neat tiny ring lead to lead, leaving the first and fifth leads long, then plugged it in place of the 12VAC halogen globe in my desk lamp. Instant, naturally rectified, economical cool white light for free. Then I desoldered the two no-name AA nicads out of the long defunc Arlec rechargeable torch and replaced them with - go figure - Arlec nicads out of the bottom draw and it's back to full life. Mrs G, sporting her new gold heart shaped locket, mentioned she had dropped her remote car alarm fob and it's not working - next job.

I love today. :victory:

I know where you are coming from Kittikat.
Our daughter is 36 and has had two year long stints overseas plus 3 months in Nth America and Canada and another 3 months in Egypt, Morroco, Jordan and Syria :scared:. As well as several months backpacking around Europe including pretty much all the former Eastern Block countries.
She's not irresponsible. In between, she has earned 2 degrees, paid off all her HECS and 4 cars.
Kids are wonderful, but I know where my grey hair comes from.
