Nice. Australia is ABBA's biggest fanbase so we have lots of Sweden here too.
... not to mention IKEA.

I went for lunch at an IKEA cafe a few years ago. I ordered a sandwich. I got all of the ingredients in separate bags, with instructions on how to make the sandwich, and an Allen key. I put it all together as per the instructions, but I still had two slices of tomato left over.  I put those in a bag and kept them in case I needed them later.

Of course I did! What do you think I am? An Australian male that believes they don't need instructions?

When we were in Canada last, we went to an IKEA early and had breakfast.
They charged my son and me an extra dollar each because we took too much BACON.

  • Phil her up!
Good news - Weekend! I'm going to be watching the VW Rally of 2014 which is held in my hometown this weekend. I have never been a spectator at a rally so this will be a first for me :D

Bad news - my mum has been in and out of hospital over the past week as something is not right with her stomach and the doctors are trying to find out what exactly is wrong. We have been waiting since Monday for the biopsy results and the wait is killing me and to be honest I am really losing faith in our hospital network. But we are trying to stay positive and praying that all will turn out well :goodjob2:

Rallying can be great to watch. Don't stand on the outside of any corners.

All the best with your Mum.

Thank you everyone! Gosh, so much support from the people here - it's awesome and as I have read on other parts of the forum I do believe this forum is amongst the friendliest ones out there  :goodjob2:

I'll send her the link to this thread - I'm sure she will appreciate it very much :)

As for the rally, I'll try and remember the SLR when I leave home. I still have to decide where I want to spectate but I have the whole of today to do it in. I am sitting on site at one of our carbon black manufacturing plants (the only one on the continent) and busying myself with some Top Gear on one screen and this forum on the other - so I am just busy enough to keep out of trouble

Hmmm. Carbon Black.
I've had a bit to do with that. Think you have a branch in Australia, too.
