+ Targa Tasmania has a competitive stage just near our house.
+ The youngest FatKid and I went and watched the cars race past.
+ Some people have some very nice cars that they can afford to race.
- I am not one of those people.

But you have a very big chopper.

Thanks. It helps when I go to bars with Gonz.

Good work to both of you!!   :goodjob2: :goodjob:

I've dropped from my starting weight of 100kg (first and only time there) and I am now down to 90kg (so you are winning, Dazz).  I've also gained some lean muscle mass as I have started working out with resistance training at least four times per week.  I now have biceps and pectoral muscles (some of which are still below my man-boobs).  My legs have toned up, and I can lift and push more weight that I was before.

I started running again a couple of months ago, doing a programme called "Couch to 10k".  I am now running 5km without stopping, before I couldn't run out of sight on a dark night.

I've cut sugar from my diet, and look for lower carb options with higher protein.

- Few weeks ago got woken up - early-ish - on a weekend morning by banging, metal cutting, etc. sounds nearby... a few houses away was having a fence installed
+ Nice looking fence - but very open... so not really for privacy, but rather to keep people, etc. out - fair enough... people would shortcut across lawn (such as it is)

It seemed to come much further out than other fences came out - near to a light pole just in from gutter, and having a piece of utility equipment inside the fence - substantially past where I though the property boundary was.

More noise late this morning - a number of the panels of the fence and posts removed and holes filled.  Consisting of one whole side (4 or 5 panels) along the street - and one or two down two sides leading to it... back past where the utility equipment is.   I am assuming the whole side will be reinstalled back further from the street and the panels leading to it modified to complete it.

You'd think someone would check where the boundary is.  :faint:

Yup - either property owner or installers (assuming they weren't just mates helping the owner).   But the 'front lawn' has got so high that at times the council (it seems and I assume) has come and mowed the verge back a bit - I don't recall how far back.   So it doesn't surprise me - as that is a 'regular' occurrence.

Of course someone else nearby basically buried a Fire Hydrant once - seems the council figured this out when, soon after I moved in, the wooden FH post fell over.   I am guessing someone reported it - next thing there is a new marker and a hole dug into an incline between properties... with the FH cover at the bottom looking like it had been buried for sometime.   A few days later there was a new cover installed - level (well angled really) and at the level of earth around the hole.   I assume, after the FH was originally installed, someone decided they didn't like a sharp rise so made it an incline with excess soil.

Hi, Dave. My head is full of Bahasa Indonesia. Saya seratus per sen siswa dan nol per sen apa-apa lain! :whistler:

Otherwise, despite the family separation, life is quite comfortable as an Officers' Mess hermit. Foxtel, WiFi and gym all at my fingertips. :D
