Don't you just hate paperwork! I love being retired, I have nearly forgotten which end of the pen to use! I take photos of most stuff with my phone now to save writing stuff down!  :goodjob:

- Banged my head on the oil rig today.

Is the oil rig OK, Jamie?

Not any more. Some idiot head butted it!! Left a big ding in the fuel shed.

- the lease man had the day off yesterday so the cash didn't hit the dealer in time to get the i40
+ it should be tomorrow.

In an interesting twist the number part of the plate is the same number as the old Falcon....

Hopefully the Hyundai will restore my faith in those numbers.

No matter how many new cars I've had, always exciting getting a new one!  :happydance: :happydance:

9:30 tomorrow..... I pick it up.

Had to push because she was giving me the whole 'oh well its the salesman's day off'. I said why do I need to seem him?

Once I pushed a bit harder and pointed out I start night work tomorrow night and wouldn't be able to pick up the car until next week, she thought perhaps the sales manager could give me my car....

So I will be able to drive it to work tomorrow night and see how the headlights roll.

- Received a notice from the traffic department in the mail today...
+ It wasn't a speeding fine :sweating:
- It was my renewal notice for my driving license, which means I have to fork out AU$35 along with their endless list of other requirements as well as standing in a queue at the local department :undecided:
+ I had a haircut today, and I was well overdue. My hairdresser (she also happens to be a good friend) doesn't accept payment in actual money so I cooked her supper instead. Bargain :winker:
- It is only Wednesday and this week is really dragging on...

Don't worry Phil, When your state Government becomes just a little more desperate for cash, they will push your price up too..... :fum:

With all the closures and failed mining promises, we're already heading down the tubes. 8.2% unemployment, worst figures for the whole country and more to come, when Holden and the subs are built overseas.  :fum: :fum: :fum:

Why are we building subs anyway. They're noisy, outmoded already and easy to pick up by the enemy, armed with non- nuclear weapons, so what is it that we are going to do with them actually.

We could paint them yellow and live in them, I guess.

Just had my license renewed in Tassie for five years. $52.50 per head, so I was up for $105.

Collins class submarines are world class conventional submarines. Very hard to find. Much easier to find a nuclear boat or a regional submarine than a Collins class.

Nuclear submarines make lots and lots of noise, even when stopped. Diesel electrics don't.
