Yeah, similar Rick. Had steroid in R shoulder for tendinitis & bursitis + 2 partial tendon tears. Played havoc with my blood sugar levels.  :Pout:

Hard to sleep at night.  :fum:

Get well soon.

That's amazing because I tore a muscle in my left arm the other day and boy, was it painful.....
I won't tell you how I did it (no, not that).
I couldn't move my arm for a couple of days. Now I can but I can't lift big heavy things with it so I have to use my right hand.   :)
I have to still use two hands to select reverse in the i30.

Funny you say that about the gear changing in the Car,I actually have more trouble driving our three manual cars than my Truck, has to be something to do with the way you are positioned to the gear stick

Take it easy Rick

Actually the more I sit around or when I go to bed and my arm is inactive that is when it is at it's worst, pretty hard to get it working again(the arm,the arm you lot) so is all a balancing act at the moment  :goodjob2:

You probably overdid her it, on your holidays.  :D

My Daughter Ashley and her husband Dave really liked your home city. Think they fly out today.

They were just on too tight a time schedule to catch up with you unfortunately...  :Pout: :crazy1:

Life has been interesting the past two months, to say the least.

I am flying to Johannesburg and then Germany soon for training, probably early next year. And I do not own a single thread of thermal clothing...I am going to come back as a popsicle

Hippo has a very unwell front shock mount and a possible leaky gearbox seal that I need to get sorted but will have it seen to at her 200K km service which is due next month.

I was involved in yet another accident riding passenger in a delivery van a few days ago and my whole body hurts, although I could attribute that to me starting gym this month. It is a 50/50 chance but I suspect the most pain is from the strenuous physical activity

To top it all off, I received my first ever speeding fine and owe our lovely traffic department a very uncool R1000 that I am planning on fighting due to them speed trapping within 300m of a speed limit sign, which is illegal according to our local bylaws. I might end up spending more in legal fees than it is worth but it is the principle that counts I suppose

Thanks Tim.

My argument is that where I was captured speeding is in view of the next speed limit sign down the road, hence I was accelerating to match the speed of the highway as they were trapping at a fork in the road that merges with one of our national highways. Whether they will see it like that is another story :P

Depends how the law sees it.
I copped the only ticket i got. Wouldnt have been 300m outside a 110km/h zone, got done at 101km/h in an 80km/h zone. Figured if i try to argue the point (not that there was an argument to be made) he might decide to take a look at my Jeep which would have easily been pinned for 1/2 dozen + defects.

Yeah I hear you. Sometimes one has to outweigh the risks and see which option works out better. I have the option of going to the court and speaking to the prosecutor and see if they can reduce my fine. I spoke to a local ward councillor and she informed me that since the notice of the infringement was more than 30 days after my alleged offense, the fine is invalid. Also, it has to be delivered by registered post (mine was in my postbox), so I might just toss it in file 13 and wait for the summonses and see if they follow through.

I was speeding up from 80 to the demarcated 120 and I was caught going 107. 3kph more and it would have been straight to court for me :sweating:

Also, bacon :goodjob2:
