Hope you're not going on this cruise ship, John...  :whistler:

:link: Gastro outbreak on Diamond Princess cruise ship in Sydney | Food poisoning

My wife and 18 yr old grand daughter disembarked Diamond Princess yesterday, Syd-NZ-Sydney  A lot of crook people on board from Gastric, they are ok. They E mailed me a few times from the ship. I was not on this one, but done 20 cruises all up and several of them had sickness aboard.  Poor hygiene practices.  Mostly Aussies on board, with a few Kiwis, Americans and quite a few Asians on group cruise.  Ship was sailing full with 2600 passengers and 900 crew.  158 reported cases, but I can guarantee double that went unreported, irresponsible.

We bought the grand daughter her first cruise for her 18th and pre Uni at James Cook Uni, Townsville next week, Vetinerary Science. :goodjob2:

John B, enjoy your cruise, done 16 with Princess, most of their ships.  Sea Princess is one of the older ones, but fine, smaller than Diamond Princess as you would know. :D

Glad to hear they escaped the runs, Lester...lol

Hopefully the outbreak didn't spoil your grand daughter's first cruise experience too much!  :victory:

- I need more exercise... was feeling sore yesterday, and a little today, from helping (volunteering) at a mini-working bee Thursday morning, then continuing to prune a couple of trees and bushes at the same place.
+ Looks a bit better and the trees are no longer able to attack people who are above 6ft.
+ Stuck around a little then had beer with a mate working nearby.
++ Had beer yesterday with a couple of mates
+ Was less sore today than yesterday.

++ Chatted with mum today
- 1 year since Dad passed.

Apparently they all are John. We think it is a tiger snake. Rumour is I disposed of a similar, but larger one a few years ago, but I vermountly deny it... :winker:

There are only three types of snake in Tasmania; the Tiger snake, Copperhead, and the White-lipped snake.  All three are poisonous with the Tiger snake being the ninth most poisonous snake in the world, and from my experience, the most common in Tasmania.

It is illegal to kill them here; however, one of my friends had a Tiger snake's head fall off in his yard.

Trish was surprised to hear this Jamie, she knew the White-lipped as whip snakes and due to their colouring Tiger snakes are often confused with black snakes, which made us think there were at least 5 types until we googled it...

Dazz, in my opinion..'The only good snake is a dead snake.'  Hate 'em, would rather face a mad pit bull doggie. :crazy1:

We get the odd red bellied black snake down here on NSW Far South Coast and the Browns. :( :faint:

It's very definitely NOT a joke.
Christopher Skase was a high flying businessman who went bust in the 80s and fled to Spain leaving behind hundreds of smal, investors who lost their savings.
Clive Palmer is a (self proclaimed) billionaire and now politician whose empire appears to be crumbling.  Workers are losing their jobs and entitlements.  The sign is comparing him to Skase.
"Sigh". As asa wold say.  :P

Thank you for your acuity, Fatboy. For those not quite to your standard, here's a further clue.
