but,for 10 years we'll now have wet weather more often,then we'll be in drought for another 10 years again.  :sweating
we seem to have 10 year cycles of wet and dry weather,and its only going to get worse.

I think Oz has had this situation for a lot longer than anyone realises. It acually goes back for tens of thousand years according to some researchers. We still know very little of the ancient history of Australia and what has happened over the past 200 years is merely a blip on the radar.

It looks like maybe just "rainfall deficient" at the moment.
