That looks good.Where would the cord run if plugged in when going?P.S. What's your bike?
I presume this needs to happen in order for it to automatically turn on with the ignition and turn off when you switch off.
P.S. What's your bike?

The cord is approximately 4 metres long so there should be more than enough length to run it across the top of the windscreen, behind the A pillar trim and then back to the lighter or power socket. The roof lining pulls back enough to poke the cord in behind it so that part is easy.....and I'm hoping someone on here knows how to remove the A pillar trim??? I'm 99% sure the A pillar trim is just a pull off cover Russ.

Forgive the intrusion as I'm not an 'i30' owner
Hi and welcome Marky. Now you have the camera, you just need an i30 to stick it on.
Hi guys,Forgive the intrusion as I'm not an 'i30' owner, however, this discussion was the only one I could find that was sensible.I bought one of these crash cams and installed on Friday. I was very disappointed with the clarity (couldn't read a number plate of car in front at traffic lights or read street signs) until about an hour ago I found out the lens is on a thread and you can focus it. The difference now is chalk & cheese, excellent clarity. Thoroughly recommend the navig8r now (was considering returning it....)Thought you may need to know this as it looks like a few of you are going to take the plunge.RegardsMark
