Following in the footsteps of the much applauded i40 Tourer, Hyundai will be launching the all-new i40 sedan in Australia.

Yes, there's no date but I got that in an email from Hyundai Australia so at least we know it's definite.

Tonight I made (email) contact with Northam Hyundai, given the luke warm responses I've received in Perth, so I'll be interested to see what they have to say and if they are keen to do a good deal on either the new i30 or forthcoming i40.
Northam is about 45 minutes from where I live (east and in the country) but I get up there quite often as my eldest daughter, hubby & grandkids live up there).
I'll be interested to see if there is much difference dealing with a country dealership as opposed to a metro one and how they view my trades  :)

When I was at Agfest the guy manning the Hyundai stand was a Burnie Salesman (about 50 kms West of where we live but works for same Company) He said if i don't get good service I can go and see him...

That would be interesting. I just wonder sometimes if the metro dealerships work purely on numbers whereas maybe the country ones work on business relationships.
Or am I being a bit naiive?

With no disrespect to our Urban members I think country folk are more friendly and less guarded most of the time. Burnie and Devonport are similar sized regional centres more aligned with what you call a country dealer.

I bit the bullet and went to John Hughs instead of Rockingham Hyundai. I couldn't be bothered with the royal run around and inconsistency that rham gave. To my great surprise , it was a good time up there as well as trip into Perth and the free pick up when we rang for a lift......will be gong back again.

That's great. I've bought from JH before and can't fault their customer service, other than their trade-in prices which I have found to be low.

Can't have excellent service and low prices....

Also if they are out of tow, the cost of getting the trade to auction may be higher, hence the lower trade?

Still if you have an offer from another stealer that's better, one would think they would at least match it.
