You know, you have to admire guts and passion and he obviously has a passion for what he does and even being paralysed from the chest down hasn't stopped him from doing what he wants to do.

Maybe so, but is it really living if we wrap ourselves in cottonwool and not do anything? 

I got told by some friends that I must have a death wish when, after breaking my back, I got on my motorcycle (while still in a back brace) and went for a ride....But to me, I was just so hanging out to get back on my bike, the risk was worth it. 

My friends just didn't get it.....
