Wow, I am also surprised by your 5th gear, I can do 30 in 5th with the CC set no problem!

So can I on a level road when I don't ever want to accelerate above the set speed - but at 30 mph my engine is only doing 1000 rpm and at that speed is like a snail with no shell - sluggish.

I was in a 30 zone tonight and used cc then entered a 50 zone from it, used the thumb and she sped up nicely to 50, the joys of petrol

I have to admit to being wrong in my earlier post where I stated the CC only came in above about 55kph.
That was the speed at which it engaged when I was testing the other day but it was in traffic.
Today I found that mine works in 3rd, 4th and 5th gear.
And will click in about 40 kph  - I think in all three gears but I need to recheck that.
Not that I'll ever use it that slow.
