Hi,
After a visit to a safari park at the weekend a gang of monkeys now own the rear wiper and aerial of a 2008 i30 (maybe they're slowly building their own car so they can escape).
I have ordered a new wiper arm and blade and in anticipation of it arriving I tried to remove the stub left after the monkey theft. Removing the plastic covered revealed a hex nut, I removed this but the stub of the arm is still stuck fast and I can't figure out how.
Peering behind the rubber/plastic boot where the arm attaches to the car I can just make out a much larger hex bolt but I would need a spanner 1mm thick to get to it.
I'm probably missing something obvious but can anyone help me remove it?
Don't let the monkeys win, I've seen Planet of the Apes, this is the first step to a revolution.
Cheers
Rob
