Hi Everyone,

ive just found the forum after having the I30 for nearly 2 years, We bought it for the wife as a kid carting shopping trolley, but ive just bought her a family bus and took the I30 for myself, bit of a shock to the system after having 4wd's for the last few years but its a nice change

will slowly do a few mods i think as ive not driven a standard car since i got my licence, so far my list is fairly bland,

will put in a nice neat sub, add some splits up the front, get a bit of tint thrown over the windows and a set of lowered springs and some nice wheels,

So you mean you let your wife and kids drive around in the i30 for a couple years getting sunburn and now you've got it, you'll put some tint on the windows?

nah, my wife wouldn't take the car to have it tinted, she didnt like tinted windows, now her new car has them she loves them,

she basicaly thinks cars are made right from the start, not a blank canvas to be played with like I do.....

its a petrol 2.0L Auto, not the most sporty car to drive, but hopefully ill get it some more of my mods started soon and getting it more how i like it,


does anyone have any experiance with roof cross bars? im wanting to get the whispbar flush mount but cant seem to find them in stock anywhere

If you don't get a helpful answer here about the roof bars, after say 24 hours I would suggest you post a thread in Modifications, non model specific..

Title it something like "Need help locating some whispbar flush mount roof bars"

I assume you have a CW with the roof rails.
Either way, look on ROla Roof Racks web site.
I still reckon they do the quietest roof racks.

interesting.....

i wouldnt know what shade it was!!!! ended up being a nice thing to drive, but lost most its drivability when i started on it, big stereo, really low and big rims dont make a fun family car!
