Had i30cw for 3 years so thought it was time to take it on a trip. Drove inland from Brisbane to Kingaroy then across to Hervey Bay. Stayed overnight there at Urangan Beach, then drove down the coast via Maryborough and Gympie and back to Brisbane. 854km round trip used just on one and a quarter tanks of petrol. Load was three adults and luggage. Tried out the new carbra, the front of the car was lovely and clean when I took it off now just have to clean the bug off the carbra. Have attached some pics of the car and scenery.

For those members o'seas the pics are of the car at Urangan Beach Hervey Bay Qld, the Urangan Pier which if you have the energy to walk it is just over 800mtrs long, the others are of the marina and the pet croc which is actually a statue. The buildings are in Maryborough and Gympie. The river is the Mary River Maryborough.

loved the pictures, walked the pier felt like eight freakin miles to me,sat on the croc at the Marina, some beautiful Queenslanders in Maryborough, but unlike everyone else wouldn't use a carbra in a pink fit,not after seeing what one so  called custom fitted one did to a mates FPV Ute after long term long distance driving(talking over 10,000 K'S in six or less months)with the high speed driving there was obviously on analysis  a lot of flutter in the material, none which you could notice sitting in the vehicle, but you could see some movement,it scratched the begesus out of his paint work, especially where the bonnet met the grill and near the wheel wells, once he got his car fixed he threw his in the bin, he couldn't consciously sell it on to someone else knowing what it had done to his car,I'd rather put up with the few stone chips and keep washing the bugs off each night like I do now.

Well, I'm thankful for small mercies.
At least you didn't suggest a wet underpants comp.
Now that would be scary.  :scared:
