Hi,
Just recently got a 2012 i30cw manual and am taking a while to get used to the clutch pedal angle.  The pedal shaft seems to angle upwards much more than other cars I have had, and so the tip of my shoe keeps hitting it if I have the ball of my foot on the pedal pad.  May it's just because I have big feet (11 1/2)!  So I either have to keep my toes turned upward, which is not really comfortable, or turn my foot slightly to the left so the top of my shoe misses the pedal shaft.  In any case, not a big issue, but a strange design decision.  Not sure if the new GD's still have this or a different angle.

Anyone else experience this in the FD's? Any ideas on (legal) mods?

Epoxy glue a rubber pad on the pedal to increase the depth between the pedal face and the shaft.....
