Not quite sure why the big turn around in her speed .. She was in the 2nd half of the field most of last year..

My Tassie guy (Marcos Ambrose) qualified 24th.. he beat her in nearly every race last year..

I'm pretty sure Danica wasn't a full time Sprint Series (top tier) driver last year, only a few races.  She did race full time in the Nationwide (second tier). She does have a great backer in Tony Stewart!!  Good effort by her though.
