first service on my trophy coming up 15,000km service. Any idea how much they will open me up at the local hyundai dealer?

Sorry Johny, I'm not in Sydney, nor have a Trophy.  Give the local dealer a call and they will give you a quote.  Ring around, you may be able to save yourself a few dollars by going elsewhere.

I don't use Hyundai for servicing but my GD diesel recently had its 15,000 km service done and it cost $177.35 with me supplying the oil.

If I remember correctly in Sydney, my 15000km service was around $350.
