Hey guys, long time since I've been active here sorry about this, just have not had the time = /

Now I need some help here,

I have since noticed that the paint on my car is INCREDIBLY bad clearcoat has started to come off in small "chunks" in various locations, including the bumper areas front and rear,  and the front side panels and this weekend on Saturday, I saw it on the rear hatch = / I am so incredibly frustrated and do not know what I can do.

And in March of last year I got the car painted on the side doors when I had mentioned for selling the paint was different on the driver's door.
The entire left side except fa A pillar and bonnet are different from the rest
Here are pictures of the car where you can see the gradation difference.

And here is the color difference on the rear bumper that I got when the car was sold, the seller said that it "was" like that but it's not stupid and can see that it is totally wrong color = (

( Update ) spoke to the paint people who did my car left side they only " spotted "hte paint to matcht he rest so the car paint on left side is wrong from either a new respray done by someone else or the factory.

I have a meeting on thursday with the seller of my car to have a look at the rear hatch clearcoat issue =(

That is sad Glac :-(

Maybe you should just hide it with the vinyl like you planned ;-)

Seems like I have years of threads to catch up on. Other owners with red cars have noted the bumpers area different shade. I also think there have been other red issues.

Touch wood my own red CRDi auto is 3 years old and the paint is OK.  I say OK - its actually quite good excepting that it suffered a rash of chips (that all appeared at once) on the bonnet.
It is not abnormal for car bumpers to look a slightly different colour to the bodywork - because of the different primer used on plastic.  However it should not be anything like as marked as in the photo (and I reckon that digital photos usually struggle to show such variations).
I have to ask though Glacius (like the name by the way) - if there are paint problems then why did you buy the car?  I presume that he car is 2nd hand as it is at least 3 years old (ie pre facelift).  Did it come from a Hyundai dealer or other main dealer with whom you might have some comeback?
Good luck
Ed

I always thought it was a rash of bacon and a bucket of chips?  :undecided:
