I picked up my new i30 this morning, and took it for its first drive (see pic in the Pictures section.) I am very pleased with the car.

The handover from the dealer (Edgars in Workington) was a bit perfunctory. I assume that in the gray folder containing various books such as about the warranty and recovery service, the reason there is a big gap is because there should be a thick book called "User Manual." Unfortunately it appears to be missing, and the sales guy is off now until Monday, so until then I guess we will have to try and figure things out for ourselves.

Yes there is a Handbook.

Most of it is common sense, 99.9%, but 1 or 2 may require specifics.

PS Just top tip - check your tyre pressure on all 4 and your spare as I found mine to be all wrong when I got my car.

Any questions just ask.

Enjoy the ride.

What are the tyre pressures supposed to be? (I guess the answer would be in the Handbook!)

No it's not in the book.

Open the drivers door and there is a label detailing the pressure depending on tyre size.

Open the front passanger door and you will find other labels detailing such info as paint code, transmission, vin etc

Thanks. That's a handy place to put the tyre pressure info. I'll check the pressures before the next trip out.

Hey Julian,

Here is a link to a topic where a user manual can be downloaded until you get yours...(It's a poorly scanned document but it's useable)

https://i30ownersclub.com/forum/index.php/topic,32.0.html

Cheers,

Darryl...

HEY!

It was the best I could do find given the sheer number of pages and the small page size :P

Whoops I forgot to add that our esteemed Shambles trolled the net for hours (probably in work time) to find that document just for you...
