watched the other day while someone open a key deadlock with a $10 app.......now that's scary....oh and he open it from both sides of the door....

I can open any door with a $10, 5 lb hammer... Locks are only there to slow down and discourage unwanted entry!

very true Ian! sledge hammer is quick. just it's what other side of the door they would worry about i guess. in the end i like the keyless entry as lot of trouble getting key into a lock in dark or with arms full.
is it worth setting up video survalance ( not down the beach in the house ).

Try them, I've seen them at masters/bunnings, the Lockwood ones (nexus series) I was at the workshop that did the tooling for them!! I polished all the moulds blocked up the dies, cut the ejector pins and drilled the coolant holes!!

We use Lockwood digital electronic Locke on holiday house found great for letting trades people accessing the house for work you can set codes to expire for upto 3 weeks in advance. It seems to work fine no issues so far you can check to see who has used what codes and when to enter house and don't need to give keys to family to get in if lock is tamperd with shuts down does have key override as required. Was about $250 to buy reasonably easy to Retro fit into previous dead lock hole

Hey Ian not yet I have to get a 2 1/8" to cut hole in wood. probably do that in a week or so, got a few jobs like shelving & so on so I can shoe horn everything into a single garage.
