There was an interesting, four page feature story in th e Sydney Sunday Telegraph about the owner of the Erebus Team which runs three Mercedes in the Australian V8 Supercars series.

I've seen photos of her and saw her in person at the Gold Coast Indy last year. Here's a pic. Edit. Sorry. The pic ended up at the bottom of the post.



She's an Heiress to the Westfield family fortune. The article is linked below but here's what I knew about her until I read the story.
She's a grandmother, tatts all over and pink tinted hair. She had enough money to be running Mercs in the Sports Car races. She had enough money to buy the Stone Brothers racing team franchise (arguably the most successful Ford team long  term in Australian motor sport) and start from scratch with 3 new cars (Mercedes) for the new 2013 regulations.

Having read her life story, I'm impressed.
